Florida Power & Light..........321-723-7795...or...www.fpl.com. Requires deposit based on two months average billing that will be refunded with interest after 23 months to customers with good payment record. Also a $14.88 service charge will be added to the first bill.

City Gas Company.................1-800-993-7546. Meter deposit which varies according to monthly gas usage, refunded after 23 months to customers with good payment record. $30 turn-on fee also required.

City Water & Sewer

- Titusville...................321-269-4400...or...www.titusville.com. $114 deposit that covers water, sewer, and trash pickup. Water-only deposit is $40, plus $14 for trash pickup. $15 administration fee for all new accounts. Deposit refunded upon disconnect.

- Mims.........................321-264-5130

- Cocoa.......................321-639-7500. Cocoa provides service for much of Central Brevard. $40 deposit for water only; $90 for water and sewer. $20 administrative charge added to first payment. Deposit refunded upon disconnect.

- Melbourne.................321-953-6390. $120 water and sewer deposit for mainland residents and customers on city water. City customers on Brevard County sewer requires $103 deposit. Melbourne pays interest on deposits, returned upon disconnect.

- Brevard residents pay a $40 water deposit; $100 water and sewer.

- Rockledge residents pay a $40 water deposit; $80 water and sewer.

- Cocoa Beach residents pay a $40 water deposit, plus a $65, $80 or $95 sewer deposit , depending on location.
